The Surfside bedding ensemble by Southern Textiles is a softly colored but lively collection of cotton fabrics with the exception of those used for the comforter lining and throw pillows; both of these fabrics are hard wearing and beautiful. The straight bedskirt in a lime green colored textured cotton with a moderate sheen level is enhanced with box pleats at the corners and middle of each side. The reversible comforter introduces a fine pin-stripe woven fabric of aqua coloration on the underneath side and a transitional floral print in greenish???aqua and yellow-greens punctuated with white outlining on the top side. The reversible comforter on the top side is an embroidered cream colored swirl design on a satiny cranberry ground, a Matelass?? effect. The reverse side is a dull -finish cream velvet edged in a custom brush fringe, combining the cranberry and cream colorations. The shams are treated in the same fashion, and the euros are covered in a cranberry sueded cloth. The creamy-yellow petals of the flower motif are punctuated by bright red-orange centers with multi-green leaves super-imposed on a grayed blue ground.
